Knapparna är större än första generationen och därmed är upplevelsen bättre. På varje sida finns två scrollmekanismer – en har ljud och känsla av kugghjul vid rotation, den andra sidan är slät och tyst. Paddelknappen, den infällbara knappen, återgår omedelbart till sitt ursprungsläge varje gång den rör sig. Det är tillfredsställande att trycka ner den och låta den fjädra tillbaka. Den ger ett klickljud när den fjädrar tillbaka. Om du vill vara tyst med denna funktion behöver du bara hålla fingret på den och kontrollera att den återgår till sitt läge. På baksidan finns en tyst ratt som känns fantastisk att snurra tummen runt.
