The Crunchy Caterpillar is the cousin to our Caterpillar fidget. It has larger stainless steel beads WITH A DIFFERENCE! They have texture and create a sound and 'crunchy feel' on roll. It’s a bit similar to rolling the flint of a lighter in sound and sensory input. However, for some the texture is icky. It is similar to the flint of a lighter. You will know immediately if it is for you. Watch the video on it being used and from that you should know if it is for you or not just by hearing it. Many rub the cord also. You can push your fingers in between the beads for a similar sensation to the pea popper. "This has really become one of my go-tos. I have the silkworm fidget which is also lovely, but the feedback the crunchy gives me is next level. its one of the fidgets making it's way onto a cruise ship with me! its also not too loud, so i can have it in uni classes! can't recommend this enough Jessy J June 2023" These have been effective for those who hair twirl or pull stim with fabric roll Blu-Tac also wonderful for decreasing agitation for those with dementia and anxiety. The crunching sound as I roll these textured steel beads between my fingers is incredibly satisfying, definitely helps me focus during long meetings. The larger size compared to regular fidgets gives a nice, substantial weight too.

The textured stainless steel beads create a seriously satisfying crunch as they roll between my fingers, and the larger size makes it easier to fidget with during meetings. I’ve been using it daily for a week and the sound hasn’t gotten annoying at all.

The textured beads really do make that satisfying crunching sound as they roll—it’s oddly calming. I’ve been fidgeting with this one during video calls and it’s helped me focus way better than my usual pen clicking. Only wish it were a bit longer for more rolling options.

The stainless steel beads have a satisfying texture that actually crunches when you roll them, way more engaging than smooth ones. I find myself reaching for it during meetings for that tactile feedback and subtle sound.
