Handquetschübungen und Sehnengleitbewegungen sind zwei Übungen, die dafür eingesetzt werden, und beide können mit dem Handroller nachgeahmt werden. Handgelenkdehnung mit Gewichten ist eine weitere Übung, für die der Handroller ebenfalls verwendet werden kann. Im Allgemeinen ist es am besten, ein leichteres Gewicht zu wählen (145 oder 180 Gramm). Während der Anwendung kann ein sanfter Zug oder eine Dehnung spürbar sein. Bei Schmerzen sollte die Anwendung jedoch abgebrochen werden. Nicht geeignet für Kinder unter drei Jahren.
